I love getting emails, but I'm lousy at returning them. That said, if you'd like to send me a note (which, really, I'd LOVE), please contact me at danielle (at) foodmomiac (dot) com.
If you are writing to pitch me about a product or service that you'd like me to feature, here are a few guidelines:
- I spend all day making social media recommendations to PR firms and brands. I know what a good pitch is (and, thus, I know bad ones too). I only write about things for which I actually have enthusiasm. Think your product/service/resort will enthuse me? Send me a note. If your pitch is lousy, I will not waste my time telling you why. However, I WILL send it to my entire team as a demonstration of what not to do (and will likely have someone on my time turn around to pitch you for our services).
- I prefer personalized emails over press releases. If I need further information, a release, photos, or to conduct an interview, I will let you know.
- My name is Danielle, not foodmomiac, sir, madam, blogger or editor.
- PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME FOLLOW-UP EMAILS. As I mention over and over on this site, I work full-time. This means that I do not have time to respond to every email I get, especially when they are unsolicited pitches. If I do not respond to you, I am not interested.
