My name is Danielle Altshuler Wiley. I am a born and bred New Yorker (Long Island to be exact), but now make my home in Chicago, a city with which I am madly in love (except in March and April, when I have absolutely had it with cold, grey weather). I live with my high maintenance (but worth it) husband Michael and my two kids, Dylan and Max.

- I have a very large tattoo on my back of a pinup waitress serving lobster. If you meet me in person, I’ll tell you the story
- I am dismayed by those who don't love food. I think it points to personality deficiencies
