Sick Day(s)

I'm now on my fourth day home sick from work. It's just a lousy cold, but being sick is never fun. I've also found that it's hard to figure out what to eat when I'm sick. When I was little, my sick day food always include a Carvel Thick Shake (black and white) and Matzo Ball soup from Wolfie's.

We don't have Carvel here (woe) and the best Matzo Ball soup in town (The Bagel on Broadway) doesn't deliver to our house. In light of these travesties, I've had to muddle together my own sick day cuisine, but I'm running out of ideas. Here's what I've done:

Monday: Lunch: Leftover rice cake soup from our favorite Korean restaurant, dosed with extra kimchi

            Dinner: leftover fried chicken

Tuesday: Lunch: delivered chicken/rice soup from a Chinese restaurant, dosed with Chinese mustard

Dinner: CityMama's Burro e Pomodori pasta

Wednesday: Lunch: leftover chicken/rice soup, dosed with kimchi

                    Dinner: delivered pizza

Thursday: Lunch: the last of the fried chicken

            Dinner: ???

What do you guys eat when you are sick? I'd love some ideas. We are all out of leftovers.
