Homemade Pizza Co.
So, I never thought I'd order one of these. It's a raw pizza. I had it delivered, and then cooked it for 15 minutes. And, it was good!
I just always assumed that it would never be worth the money. If you are going to order a pizza, I figured, why not just get one that is cooked? And if you are going to make one, mix up your own dough, or go get some at Trader Joe's. But, for some reason, we decided to try this out tonight, and it was a big hit. Sometimes, being a food snob just bites me in the ass.
We have been living about a mile from this place for six months, and I never before realized that they use local ingredients whenever possible, partner with a not-for-profit city-based farm during the growing season, and make all of their sauces daily from scratch.
The pizza and salad cost us about half of what we usually pay when we have pizza delivered for dinner, and considering the quality of the ingredients, that's truly a bargain.
