BlogHer - The Name Dropping Post

OK, a photographer from the SF Chronicle is taking my picture from every angle. ACK! I have this problem with candid photos. I always insist on making a big smile for every photo so that I can control the output. I often look funny when candid. Funny or angry. But, you can't really pretend to be blogging with a big 'ol smile on your face. Anyway....

This thing is amazing. To my right is the mom blog goddess table. I am having a hard time getting over the fact that these women are all sitting together. Dooce, Finslippy, Mrs. Kennedy, Melissa from Suburban Bliss, Amalah and Mandajuice are all at the same table eating lunch. Wild. And at the table in front of me is Sweetney. It's like my whole blogroll in person. Like some sort of weird dream where all sorts of disparate people show up at the same place.

It has been wonderful to finally meet everyone that I have been reading for so long. Sitting with Mir, getting my picture taken by Mary, hugging Asha, having dinner with Lisa V... I'm overwhelmed, still kind of tired, and just trying to get over the spinning in my head! Yesterday, I walked out to the pool because I saw Mary (well, I saw her tattoo first). As I was talking to her, someone said, "Are you foodmomiac?" Well, my heart just leapt. My brand. Someone knows my brand. Oh. My. God. And, then, I almost died because do you know who it was?? LIZ!! from Mom-101!!

I'm also meeting so many new people. My blogroll will definitely be expanding, and I can't wait to "get to know" these awesome women.
