Homemade baby food for sale
Ok, this is absolutely insane. I realize that it is primarily being sold in L.A., and L.A. is expensive, but $2 a container!??!! Plus 2-day shipping!?
I'm also kind of put off by the ages recommended for each stage of food. Max is only 7.5 months, and he had had enough with silky smooth textures a while ago. He will only eat baby food if it's kind of lumpy and thick, or if he can serve himself using his cute little pincer grasp.
I know I bitched about having no time to make Max's food myself, but I've actually started to do it. I made him prunes (his favorite, especially when mixed with oatmeal or mixed grain cereal), Moroccan squash and spaghetti & meatballs. It's really not a big deal.
Attention readers of this blog: I will be happy to make you organic
baby food if you are willing to pay me $2 per container. I will even
have Dylan recite her yoga chants over it, thus making it yogic and
imbued with special healing powers.
